These applications usually attack people when they are surfing the web. Once the downloaded application is installed and ready, the malware that installed it will inform the user who is infected with a new threat, hitherto unknown. This can be done through a “warning” that appears at the bottom right side of the system. The application is then presented misleading and either pretend to download or run a system scan. The test results produced by the application may be completely false misleading or may include some real issues that affect the system, but they always exaggerate the problems in the system and refuse to settle until the seller is paid and a registration key is written in the program
