Most anti-virus suites now include this facility. Open your anti-virus control panel, if it is there in place a “full system scan”, not just a quick analysis. You can search the Internet for anti-spyware software to download, choose a name you know or can verify as authentic. Among the most often rogues offer a free scan and is likely to simply add more spyware. There are several good anti-spyware programs, which are free for personal use only. Spybot and Ad-AwareSE-Search & Destroy are two such programs, personally, I use. Microsoft also do a removal tool malicious software. A two-way firewall is an extra security measure that could be considered. So if spyware invades your computer, you will be prevented from calling “home.”
